A Romantic Super-hero Musical Comedy. And it's good.

Here's why I love the Internet. If Neil Patrick Harris went to most major studios and said, "I want to star in a comedy about an evil Doctor, named appropriately enough, Dr. Horrible, and his attempts to join the Evil League of Evil and defeat Captain Hammer, and oh yes, it's a musical, and I want to sing, and I'm actually good," I'm sure the executive would be twiddling on his blackberry asking for security to come and get the crazy guy out of their office, before the word "romantic interest" ever made it into the conversation.

And yet - it's a hit. Because of the Internet. If you liked it, as I did, you might check out some other stuff done by Joss Whedon (of Buffy the Vampire and Firefly fame) who did the music and the direction during "the strike." You can watch it on Hulu.com.
